Based in Bordeaux, I engrave worlds under the press of Atelier Saunei. The name « saunei », meaning « dream » in Gascon, was suggested to me by friends who have a rich Occitan culture and work to keep it alive and pass it on.

Drawing from a dreamscape where local folklore meets a broader mythology, my work explores a decorative aesthetic infused with geek culture. I weave together architecture, mythical creatures, and fragments of fading tales.

Every print is made entirely by hand. The design is conceived on paper, then it is transferred onto the linoleum block before being carved line by line. Once inked, the block and paper are run through the press, and this step is repeated for each print. Every print is numbered and belongs to a limited edition.

I place great importance on materials: the origin and quality of tools, paper weight, and ink performance. These details give character and personality to each print. Slight irregularities are not flaws: they carry the imprint of the hand, becoming an inseparable part of the craft.

This project coexists with my other professional activity, outside the art world. Rather than holding me back, this balance allows my practice to mature without compromise. Although production time is limited, every order is handled with care and attention.
